Monica: Tonight, the winner of the Battlefield of Honour battle royal will challenge Sirus for the GX Heavyweight Championship. That man is a GX original and one of the most popular in Generation eXcess. He is SJ Dixon.
The camera moves out to show SJ stood next to Monica
Monica: It's been a while since I've had the chance to interview you, SJ. Are you going to make the same joke as usual?
SJ smiles and shakes his head
SJ: Tonight is far too important for any of that. I've got to be on top of my game and stay focused. This is my chance to win the biggest title in wrestling. To finally become the GX Champion.
Monica: That's something you've been working towards since your very first match here in GX when you entered the original Gold's Rush tournament. And you even won your first GX title when you beat Jake Plissken for the National title at Inner Nemesis last year. Are you confident of another title victory tonight?
SJ: I've been in the best form of my career for some months now. It seems like nothing can stop me. If I'm ever gonna win that title, it's gonna be tonight.
Monica: You've been here before of course. When you had a title shot against 2Face at Deadly Sins. Unfortunately you couldn't get the win that night, so what will be the difference this evening?
SJ: Since that match I've been getting better and better. I came close to reaching the top. The place where every wrestler wants to be. And I want to go all the way this time.
Monica: Are you at all concerned that the GM, Ms. Poulter might have a surprise in store for you?
SJ: If tonight's gonna be my night then there's nothing any body can do to stop me. Not Emma, Sirus or anyone else she wants to throw at me. I plan of winning this match, the biggest of my career so far, and becoming the GX Champion.
Monica: Well thank you for taking time to speak with me and good luck for later tonight.
SJ: No problem. Thanks, Melissa.
Monica shakes her head as SJ walks off
