AP goes shopping

Mr. AP, clad in his standard jeans and white t-shirt with a gold chain around his neck, enters the GX retail store, greeting the workers with a smile.

AP: What up, yall?

He walks around the racks of clothes, looks a little at all the trinkets, and goes up to the t-shirts hanging on the wall. He notices that his t-shirt is on the lower rack toward the corner. He raises his voice so the workers can hear.

AP: Now that's just messed up! See, I know you gotta get the t-shirts with Black Spirit and 2Face and SJ Dixon and them all up in the middle. I get that. They been here, done that. But yall KNOW that Mr. AP is the one that people wanna see!

Mr. AP scans and shuffles through some of the t-shirts that are more visible to customers -- eye level and closer to the middle of the wall.

AP: Darktiby? Dude's got hormones like a teenager, he don't even belong here. Jeremy? He's aight, but he ain't me! And yall even put Tha King's "Freaknik" shirt at eye level!?

AP shoots an angry look at the worker across the room at the cash register, who quickly looks down and starts straightening the GX pocket event schedules. Mr. AP shakes his head in disappointment, turns back to the t-shirts and keeps his voice raised.

AP: Yall need to learn! This is a business! Playas like me bring in revenue, profit, money. Suckas like Tha King can't get no return on they investments! So if yall know what's good for business, then you take this t-shirt...

Mr. AP grabs his "Respect THAT!" t-shirt from the rack and turns and shows it to the rest of the workers.

AP: ...and the rest of my merchandise, and you put it where people can see it!

Mr. AP swiftly moves his t-shirt and puts it in front of Tha King's t-shirt on the rack, so his is seen and Tha King's isn't. He looks resolutely at the worker at the cash register.

AP: Respect THAT!

He then walks out of the store shaking his head. As he exits, so all can hear...

AP: Yall must be crazy!
