Camera opens with the Downer makeing his way down the backstage corridor. Just as he comes closer to the camera, a hand reaches out onto his shoulder, stopping him, causing him to look annoyed. Into camera view, steps Dante S. Inferno. He gives the Downer a grin and a pat on the shoulder.
Dante: Big night huh? All your plans and work come to fruitition tonight, right? Left nothing to chance I'm sure.
Downer: Yeah. I'm not an idiot. If things don't work tonight, we're all pretty darn screwed. Just make sure you take care of things on your end.
Dante: Oh don't worry about me. One way or another, I'll do what I do.
Downer: Yeah well, last week, what you DID was let two GXers hand your butt to you. Hopefully you can manage against just one.
Dante: Oh, I'll handle myself just fine. And then, after this is all done... I'll handle you, and relieve the burden of gold off your shoulders.
Downer turns and looks Dante in the face, anger starting to show.
Downer: WHAT?! Listen, first of all, everyone with a brain knows you have no hope of beating me. Second, you better focus on TONIGHT instead of dreaming about things that won't happen.
Dante chuckles and starts to walk away from Downer, waving as he goes.
Dante: Hopes and dreams? Please, not like I believe in any of those things. Just saying man... victory tonight won't mean victory in the future.
With that, Dante exits the camera view, leaving a rather angered Downer behind, who proceeds to kick the corridor wall, before walking off himself.

ooc : nice RP. @downer - Match results = 1:1 ... Im planning to pump myself up for the whole next season (hopefully it wont collide with my holidays) so prepare for a challenge  |
