Hans: Hello, wonderful and glorious GX fans. It's me Hans Lieberman again. I am excited at the prospect of interviewing not only a Legend within this company in Black Spirit, but also his opponent tonight, Cathul.
Cathul: Who the hell are you and what are you so chipper for.
Hans: It's my first day working in this company and I've already interviewed the man who made this all possible...
Cathul: Yeah, that's me. If it wasn't for me, all these GXers running around back here would be standing in the unemployment line waiting for their uncle Sam to cut them a check.
Hans: Actually I meant...
Cathul: If it wasn't for me, people wouldn't be tuning in show after show. If it wasn't for my fame; My LEGION of fans out there....
Cathul pauses and waits for an echo from the audience, but it never comes.
Cathul: Forget them. I saved this company just like I saved Dixon at the Pay Per View, and what thanks do you think I would get? I get mauled and manhandled by the best wrestlers left within this company. I come out victorious after the fight of my life to earn a shot at the title I SAVED... And you think after all that I could get a day off?
Hans: Well, I...
Cathul: Oh Cathul! We have a shortage of workers available, since you're still in the Atlanta area, could you show up? What kind of Mondial company doesn't have enough wrestlers to fill out a roster? You can't give your most valuable member a night off following such a brutal match?
Hans: Um, well I see....
Cathul: Congratulations, son. You're one step above the rest of the management around here. People complained about Emma being inept, at least she brought new talent to this roster and had enough coverage to afford people days off. I swear... What are you doing with that microphone?
Hans: Can I speak now? Okay... I'm the new interviewer and I...
Cathul: Oh great. I thought you were an insurance adjuster. I was getting used to having some peace and quiet. I didn't have to answer questions from some halfwit when Emma was running the show. Let me ask you a question, Hans was it? What right do you have to stand face to face with the next heavyweight champion? What have you achieved to allow yourself to stand shoulder to shoulder with one of the best technical wrestlers in any cage, ring, or octagon? And how dare you look your Savior in the eye when he's speaking to you. Avert your eyes before I melt your face off. Don't think I haven't read the ancient texts the Spaniards left for purging sin from the sinners. I can make you confess sins you never even dreamed of committing.
Hans:...
Cathul: Don't just stand there, ask your stupid questions
Hans: Umm... all right. You're facing Black Spirit tonight in one of the main events. How do you prepare to face a legend in this business.
Cathul: Seriously? That's your question? Don't make me laugh. I prepare for him the same way I do every other unfit, uneducated, unwashed mass that wrestlers for this promotion. I take a nap.
Hans: You take a nap?
Cathul: Was I not clear? I take a nap. That's all the stretching and pre-match warm up I need to deal with someone so unworthy of my time. Isn't he challenging for the tag team belts? What is he doing wrestling solo? He needs to remember that there isn't someone in his corner to tag when he's getting beat. He...
The door to the gym burst open and Pickman, Cathul's large brooding servant steps in.
Pickman: Cathul! What are you doing to that reporter?
Pickman covers the distance from the door to where Cathul is standing in remarkable time for a man so large. Grabbing Cathul by the throat, he slams the smaller man into the lockers hard and forces him up til his feet are no longer touching the floor.
Pickman: Apologize to the reporter you've intimidated and retract any statements you shouldn't have said.
Gasping for breath Cathul turns to look at Hans.
Cathul: I.... <gasp> I'm sorry for mistreating you, and I take back what I've said.
Pickman turns to Hans, the reporter jumps in fright. Pickman relaxes his facial features and smiles at the small man.
Pickman: Please forgive my master. Cathul can be a bit hot headed at times and he doesn't always think before he speaks. I'm hear to break him of his habits and help him get his message across. I'm sorry there isn't much time for an interview right now. I promise Cathul will have a statement prepared by eXcess.
Hans: Right. Whatever you say. This is Hans Lieberman and I'm getting out of here. Back to Shawn and Robert.
