(ooc: since the season won't be starting til after the new year, as I understand it anyway, I thought we should throw a little "party", and the lounge is as good a place to do it as any! Total freeplay here, won't be used on any shows or anything, just as something to do in between seasons. Also, I'm bored  ) *Semag walks into the still fairly empty lounge, the New Year's decorations hanging all over the place. He chuckles at how cheesy it all looks without a crowd as he moves to the bar.Hey, could I get a rum and coke? That would be awesome.*He waits for his drink and pays for it, then heads to a booth in the corner, settling in and waiting to see how big of a crowd shows up. |

*Suddenly Semag hear a loud bang of someone falling while the bartender point at laugh at the guy*
Semag: Have we hired a clown? Bit early tho since this place is almost empty.
*The man who felled has the wire from x-mas lights on the tree wrapped around his ankle*
The guy: Sorry. Sorry. I fix it again.
*Semag and the bartender laughing while this guy gets wire of his foot. After gotten the wire off he walks up to the booth and gets a seat next to Semag*
The guy: Hey, I'm John. New here. Going to compete in The Obsession Challenge.
*A stench of alcho reach the nose of Semag*

Arkken steps inside the lounge, the GX World Heavyweight Championship strapped around his waist and partly covered by his jacket. He raises his left eyebrow as he looks over the room, appearing particularly unimpressed.
Arkken: I shouldn't have expected any better.
Shrugging, he makes his way to the booth Semag is occupying, giving not an ounce of attention to John.
Arkken: This seat taken?
Without waiting for an answer, he sits down opposite the man he pinned to become champion.
Arkken: Apparently, no one received the memo.

Arkken: Oh? I guess it depends on your definition of smooth. When we met in the Elimination Chamber, things went pretty smoothly.
He smiles and taps the belt's centerpiece.

I don't think "smoothly" is the word I'd use... I'd lean more toward "fortuitous"... at least in your case.

Arkken: Oh please, Semag. Do you think you deserve this belt? I seem to remember you not only losing that encounter, but also being bested by 2Face when you tried to get another opportunity. Now, of course, you have another one, so... try not to mess it up again. You can't make a career out of missed opportunities, no matter how hard you may try.
