Monica is waiting backstage with Immacolata and Undertaker when the cameraman gives her the signal. The former National Champion has apparently traded her red leather suit for a black one; she also lets her black hair flow freely down her back.
Monica: My guests at this time are Immacolata and her protege for this edition of the Obsession Challenge, Undertaker. First, Immacolata, how do you feel the Challenge will affect your season?
Immacolata: It will mean that I will speak more than I am accustomed to and that I will get even more air time. Otherwise, it won't affect my trajectory a bit as I aim straight for Thoren Black and his sorry excuse for a title reign.
Monica: Could you introduce us to your protege?
Immacolata: Do you take me for a manager? He can do this part himself.
She looks at Undertaker, waiting for him to speak.

Would you please stop being an idiot, I mean seriously making 11 posts, and all of them you keep asking for titles, and now your being rude to people... seriously just stop flaming people, and asking for title shots without even making one rp. (I know i'm not GM or anything but that's just ridiculous)
It makes you seem like an ass (sorry for the language)

Alright, there is no need for that. Obviously, he is a new player who does not know better, so instead of calling him an ass, we should teach him how to role-play.
With that in mind, here are a few guidelines regarding posting and role-playing.
First rule: Do not hijack threads in which your character has no business. Storylines usually come from the GM (General Manager) and his VGM (Vice General Managers), and threads are made for people in a feud to interact. There are exceptions, of course, and your character might have a good reason to show up in a segment (think of it as the wrestlers' promos on TV), but their goal is usually to advance a specific storyline.
Second rule: Look at the date of the thread. If it was active in November and it is now nearly June, you have no business posting in it. Usually, threads will be less than a week old, because they are meant for the next show (TX's shows air on Monday and Friday) or the show after that.
Third rule: Try to use more than one line per role-play segment (typically just called RP). Use a sentence or two to describe your character's actions, such as "Immacolata shrugged and crossed her arms over her chest. Then, she walked away, not saying anything." Also, make it clear when your character is speaking, either by writing his or her name first (such as "Immacolata: You bore me to death.") or by using a different color.
Fourth rule: One or two RP a week is plenty. Do not create threads everywhere, as they will bury the other active threads. Remember that we are not really competing against each other, but rather working together to make interesting feuds and great shows. We are competing against the other federations.
Fifth rule: No god-moding. God-moding usually means to decide of another character's words or actions. That is sometimes allowed in a limited capacity (such as in a sneak attack, agreed upon by both players) or in the case of the Obsession Challenge, where the mentors can help guide their trainees with a little god-moding. Still, this practice is generally frown upon and will call down the wrath of a thousand evil spirits, so stay away from it. (Not that you were doing it personally.)
Sixth rule: Be courteous to your fellow players. Sure, we compete against each other in TWG, but within federations, we are more like a family. Our goal is to make the damn best shows we can, and so we try to write the damn best RP we can.
Seventh rule: Championships. If your opponent can defeat you in two moves, chances are that you will not be getting into a title feud with him or her. When going for a belt, it will most likely be the belt whose champion is closest to your level. However, levels do not matter as much as the ability to role-play, because the GM and the VGM can edit matches and make it look like you can take on a tougher opponent. Still, it is better to pitch two people of similar wrestler score against each other to produce better matches that require less editing. It is also more credible. Lastly, the more active you are and the better promos you can write, the more likely you are to be granted a title opportunity.
Seven golden rules. I think that covers the basics.

ooc: Immacolata knows best. And I'd add a great 8th Rule: Ask the GM. I've sent several messages in the game explaining how this is going to work and I always finish them with "If you have any question, let me know".
There's also an implicit Don't get the Staff Angry rule that could be broken if you make them check the whole Forum looking for posts to delete.
Again, send me a message in-game if you feel confused and we can talk about it.

Undertaker to Immacolata why are you so rude to me. Can't you speek to the vice gm to give us a tag team title shot.

[My character did not say anything. That was an out-of-character guide on how to role-play and I find it highly incredible that you did not understand that. I will handle it from here, nice and cliche.]
Undertaker: All there is to say is that I have come to claim another soul. This "challenge" of yours is of no concern to me. A man like myself has no need of mentors nor of guidance. Those who step into the ring with me will do so at their own risk.
He stalks off, leaving the two women somewhat puzzled.
Monica: Hmm, did you...
Immacolata: I should have talked to him first, probably, but I'm glad I was stuck with him. I'm not the helping kind, so this matches my teaching style perfectly.
The interviewer, who is now used to wrestlers' strange whims, recovers quickly.
Monica: Tonight, you will be facing Thoren Black in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the National Championship. Do you expect this match to be similar to your last title match, back when you were defending against Black?
Immacolata: I expect Thoren to try and retain his belt with every trick in the book, but, unlike last time, I won't give him the chance to get away with it. He thinks he cannot lose because he is friends with management, but, when I am done dragging him throughout the arena, not even management will be able to recognize him.
She turns away to leave, but she seems to think better of it and she walks back up to Monica again.
Immacolata: It will remind him of his vacation when he wakes up and doesn't know where he is.
The challenger smiles and, this time, leaves for real.
