(The scene cuts to a dark alley in the heart of Chicago in the middle of a heavy rain. The homeless line the walls of the buildings as they wrap up in whatever they could find to keep the rain off them. Furious Steele slowing makes him way down the middle of the hallway ignoring the human dismay surrounding him. He is wearing his usual black sleeveless “I Hate You” t-shirt, torn blue jeans, and black army jacket. His long black straggly hair is soaking wet and is covering most of his face but the snarl on his lips is crystal clear. The camera slowly zooms on Steele as he methodically makes his way down the alley. )
Steele: Former owner of this federation think they have been ripped off… They had their power, they had their chances and they failed. But as in most cases, those who live in entitlement see themselves as the victim. Former champions of this federation sit around and bicker about getting “another shot” at the world title. They have grown old and fat off the blood of others and now conspire to hold their positions of power. When they were children do you think their dreams were to hold onto a position they don’t deserve through backstage politics? Or is that just the disgusting selfish desperate creatures they have become?
(Steele cuts across the street into a warehouse district and makes his way down the next alley. There is a drug dealer and his bodyguards on the corner of the alley who give Steele the “respect nod” but say nothing to him. This alley has no homeless in it though. )
Steele: There is one truth in the world still though. You can get whatever you want if you are willing to do whatever it takes to get it… Furious Steele’s shackles shall soon be lifted and then the world will see exactly what I am willing to do to get my world title shot. For now, the shackles remain though and debts will be repaid so I will spend my time finishing off something I started a while back.
(Steele comes to a metal door at the end of the dead end alley that has “The Underground” sprayed on it. Steele turns towards the camera and pulls back his hair to expose his cold hateful brown eyes.)
Steele: Drake James, your hesitation and fear to unleash your beast is a disappointment. You have been savagely and repeatedly beaten up and that appears not to be enough to properly motivate you so my tactics are going to change. You appear to be content taking beatings from Furious Steele that have and to be blunt you look like a broken man in the ring these days. Maybe the motivation of seeing your Statue of Liberty brothers suffer for your failures will help you find the courage to release the beast inside of you and take your place upon the gods of wrestling.
(Steele closes his eyes and takes a few intense deep breaths before opening his eyes.)
Steele: The trail of carnage you are going to witness over the next month is due to your own failures and inability to face your fears and the reality of what you are suppose to be. As you watch friend after friend end up in the hospital at my hands, you must look inside and accept that they are suffering because you are too much of a coward to face your fears. The only questions are, “Who will be first?” “And how many have to suffer before you step forward?”
(Steele turns and backs on the door three times and after a few seconds a large mountain of man opens the door and looks around before stepping aside to let Furious Steele enter. Scene closes.)
