The camera follows Monica as she is seen trying to decide what shirt to buy; either the new SHIBUMI Arkken shirt or the Kiwi Facts one. She’s got both shirts on her hands and raise them above her head to take a better look at them. When she puts the shirts down, Spirit is already standing in front of her which instantly scares her
Spirit: The job is done, you insolent sniffer. I tracked that website and paid a couple of Caleb’s nerd friends to take it down. I made them look through the whole freaking web to make sure there’s nothing related to that thing you found
Monica places the shirts back to where she took them from without taking her eyes off the former champion
Monica: Kudos for doing so. Still I know what I saw and I already told Arkken about it
Black Spirit steps forward getting closer to Monica. She steps back, trying to keep the distance
Spirit: Do you know how much money and time I spent to erase that from earth? That’s a stain that will chase me for the rest of my life and I just want to think it never really happened
Monica: But you can’t erase the facts. There are things in life you must undertake. No matter if you like them or not. Gloria was…
Spirit: Don’t you say her name!
Spirit speaks out so loud that people in the store turn around to take a look at what’s going on
Spirit: You don’t have any right to mention her name. Only sticking your nose in this business was bad enough. I don’t know what Arkken is offering you for doing this but whatever it is, tonight he’ll find out is not worth the beating he’ll take. What do you think of that, interviewer-turned-ally?
Monica stops backing down and stands firmly, letting Spirit get as close as he wants to
Monica: I’m doing this ‘cause I want to, not because somebody told me to do it. I’m not ally of anybody and I’m still a reporter. The best in the business to say the least
A clerk approaches the duo. The last thing he wants is to molest the superstar but he understands he must help in some way
Clerk: Lady, are we ok in here?
Spirit turns his head to look at the old man standing a couple of feet away. Monica responds, still staring at her oppressor
Monica: We’re good. This man was asking me for an interview but surprisingly got extremely mad because I asked him why he became such an @$$
As Spirit turns his head to her, Monica passes by and grabs the 2 shirts. She gives them to the clerk as he heads to the counter
Monica: I want these two
The clerk looks at the shirts and then at an enraged Spirit, who looks deep in his own thoughts as he watches the company’s interviewer walking away
