Melissa Collins, mic in hand and smiling as always, is in the studio with Seamus McFamous. Seamus McFamous is looking around, seemingly unimpressed. As Melissa makes her introduction, Seamus McFamous appears almost annoyed by her presence.
Melissa: Ladies and gentleman, I'm Melissa Collins bringing you yet another exclusive interview with one of the hottest new stars in professional wrestling today. Today, I'd like to introduce to you... Seamus McFamous.
Mr. McFamous, please tell us a little about yourself. I, and I'm sure our great fans, would love it if you gave us an idea of just who Seamus McFamous is.
(Seamus McFamous turns his eyes toward Melissa, almost staring a hole right through her. He half smiles and shakes his head as he prepares to speak.)
McFamous: I'm not so sure you really want to get to know me. I'd say only one person has ever truly known me (he turns his face away from Melissa, as a look that can't be described as only one emotion comes over his face)... and if they were here, I doubt they'd be in the mood to go down "memory lane".
The only thing you need to know is that I'm here, not to be among the best but to be THE best. I'll do whatever it takes to get there and I'll beat whoever stands in my way.
Melissa: Well, it certainly seems you have high goals for this coming year. The locker room has had a certain buzz about it the past few weeks, a sense of anxiousness and excitement. How do you feel about the premiere on October 26th and the weeks that will follow?
McFamous: (laughs) Oh, the locker room certainly has a sense of "excitement" about it. But you know what? I'm not the most excitable guy. I know exactly what I need to do and I know exactly how I'm going to do it. I'm fully prepared, physically and mentally. There isn't an ounce o' doubt or fear in my mind.
I've seen the guys in the locker room. They pace back and forth. They wring their hands. What you call "excitement", I call nervousness. I call it being unsure of yourself, being unsure of your competition... being afraid.
When you're afraid, you start to make mistakes; you hesitate. You hesitate for half a second when you're in that ring with me... it's over. There may be a few real fighters in here. There might be a few guys who can take their fear and use it in a match. But that's when I've really got you.
(Staring coldly into the camera, addressing the rest of the roster with a smile that reveals not only a malicious intent but the utmost desire to carry it out) You fellas keep trying to convince yourselves that you've got what it takes. Keep looking in the mirror and telling yourselves you're winners. Hold on to your dreams for as long as you can... October 26th is your wake up call.
(Seamus McFamous slowly turns and walks away as Melissa Collins looks back into the camera)
Melissa: There you have it ladies and gentlemen. Seamus McFamous.
